The International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI) is a federally chartered university located in Islamabad, Pakistan. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Islamic studies and various other disciplines. It is the largest Islamic institution of higher learning in the world.

The IIUI traces its origins to 1980, when it was founded as an affiliate of the Organization of the Islamic Conference. In 1988, it became an independent institution. The university has a student body of over 35,000 and faculty of over 1,500. It is one of only two universities in Pakistan to have been accorded the status of "Warden Free" by the Higher Education Commission.
