I, Muqadas Maan, belong to a small village in Pattoki Tehsil of Kasur District in Punjab. I did my Masters in Information Technology from PUCIT, Lahore.
As I hail from a village and belong to a traditional Jutt family (where no girl attended high school ever),it was a big deal for me to continue my studies after my college. I am the first girl from my family to attend a university. It was more like breaking the stereotypes.
After graduating from the university, I started my first job in Punjab Education Department as an IT teacher. It was also the first time that a girl from my family did a job.
When I decided to appear for the CSS exam, everyone advised me to quit the job. People said it was nearly impossible to pass this exam with a full time job. It was, indeed, really difficult for me to prepare for the CSS exams with a full time job. I used
